ABOUT
John Santucci has been a part of our South Mill Family for the past 7 months! John grew up in the West Grove area, attended Avon Grove Charter School, and worked on his father’s mushroom farm. He always knew he would work in the mushroom industry, but wasn’t sure in what capacity. John’s brother, Sam Santucci, is our Farm Manager in Kennett Square. While John was still in high school, Sam encouraged him to visit our Compost Facility to see if he would be interested in working there someday. Fortunately, John listened. As the Supervisor in Phase I Compost, John has routine tasks to perform on a daily basis; however, there is always “something going on or going wrong” from which he can learn. During his free time, John spends many hours polishing, fixing and tinkering with his 1998 blue Chevrolet pick-up truck- his pride and joy. Thank you for being a valuable member of our team, John!
