Employee Spotlight: Francisco Rosales

ABOUT

Francisco Rosales has been a part of our South Mill family for the past 30 years! Francisco was born in Puebla, Mexico, and came to Kennett Square as a teenager with his uncle, who worked at South Mill at the time. Francisco started working for us in January 1987, he started in our Packing Department, weighing mushrooms and went on to do many different jobs there. He then transferred to our Shipping Department, where he worked as Assistant Manager, and then Shipping Manager. After 10 years, he accepted a position in Cold Storage, where he has been working for the past 8 years as Assistant Manager. Like so many of our employees, Francisco met his wife, Teresa, while both were working in the Packing Department. They have been married for 21 years and Teresa now supervises our Sanitation night shift. Both he and Teresa attend citizenship classes at South Mill in the evenings and hope to soon become citizens of the United States. Another American dream story! Francisco likes the people at South Mill and finds that they are respectful of their jobs and of him. When he is not at work, Francisco likes to help keep his house clean and tidy. He also enjoys watching movies with his family. Thank you for being a valued member of our team, Francisco.
