Ignacio Tovar has been a part of our South Mill family for the past 15 years! Ignacio was born in Michoacan, Mexico, and came to the United States in 1997, to work with his father as a Harvester at a local mushroom company. Ignacio stayed there for 5 years and then found a job at South Mill in 2002. He started in our Shipping Department, wrapping pallets and loading trucks. In 2008, he transferred to our Transportation department and now does local driving, making deliveries and picking up orders. Ignacio likes the people at South Mill and really enjoys driving. He also likes the fact that he knows his job and he appreciates his autonomy. During his free time, Ignacio enjoys spending time with his family. He has 5 children and his wife, Veronica, who works for us in Utility in Kennett Growing. The oldest child, Victor, worked for us briefly and now lives in Chicago with his wife. Ignacio’s youngest is only 3 years old! Ignacio is also interested in self-improvement and spends time reading and studying the subject. He purchased a home and hopes someday to become an American citizen. Thank you for your years of hard work, Ignacio.
