New Orleans inventories a full line of white, exotic and organic mushrooms complemented by year-round Chile peppers, kiwi, peeled and whole garlic and shallots. The New Orleans facility rounds out its inventory with a complete line of herbs and specialty produce for foodservice, wholesale and retail customers.
Delivery Frequency of the Distribution Center
New Orleans receives mushroom deliveries from our corporate facility in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania six days a week. We also receive produce deliveries from all major growing areas, including import items that are air freighted in on a daily basis in special refrigerated containers that ensure only the highest receiving quality standards are maintained.
Territory Covered by the Distribution Center
Our New Orleans facility is located in Harahan, LA, which is a suburb of New Orleans. We have a distribution radius that spans south to Homa, LA, west to Gulf Port, MS, and East to Lafayette, LA and north to Baton Rouge, LA. On a daily basis, we can deliver to all points in and around the greater New Orleans area.
Special Services offered through Routes, Equipment, Custom Packs.
New Orleans has the ability to offer a wide variety of custom packaging for our customers that include over-wraps, place packs and private labeling. We offer our customers daily deliveries via our refrigerated South Mill company trucks and third party carriers that we have utilized over the many years we have serviced this region. All regional distribution centers as well as corporate headquarters can provide our customers cold storage, repacking, and break-bulk services.
